About ChessAnalyzer

ChessAnalyzer is a free chess analysis tool made by Qyvera Labs, an independent developer studio.

We built it because reviewing your own games is the fastest way to improve at chess, and it should not require an account, a subscription or uploading your games anywhere. ChessAnalyzer runs Stockfish 18 — one of the strongest chess engines — directly on your device, in your browser or in the Android app.

What we believe

• Your games are yours. They are stored on your device, not on our servers.
• Explain, don't just score. Every opening move and every puzzle comes with a reason, so you learn the idea and not only the answer.
• Be honest about engines. Labels and ratings are estimates; our guides explain exactly how they are calculated.

ChessAnalyzer is free software under the GNU GPL v3 and builds on Stockfish (GPL v3), chess.js (BSD) and the Lichess chess-openings dataset (CC0).
