Your chess data stays on your device

Games, analyses, settings and learning progress are stored in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage) or on your phone. We do not receive them. Delete them at any time in the analyzer's Settings, or by clearing the site's data.

Network requests

• The Stockfish 18 engine files are downloaded from this site and cached by your browser.
• If you choose to import games by username, your browser requests your public games directly from Lichess or Chess.com, whose own privacy policies apply.
• Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, time, pages requested) to deliver and protect the site.

Advertising and cookies

This website may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can include ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time through the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that the consent message provides. The analysis app itself (/app/) shows no ads.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, most requests are handled directly in your browser or with Google; write to us for anything else.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
